On the 16th of June 1945 Aris Velouxiotis, leader of the communist resistance group ELAS(and my pfp), commits suicide in order to not be captured by the Bourgeois state. Had the KKE followed his advice and continued armed struggle Greece would very likely have become communist.

In 1980 none of these countries were socialist. Also the bourgeois revolution went through many ups and downs before completely ending feudalism. The bourgeoisie's victory was history inevitable and the proletariat's victory is also history inevitable
