@bowman_roberta Thanks Roberta. I appreciate the support. These ladies are such wonderful characters. The more I collect the more interesting they become. My still growing pile of “home movies” of the founders and other LPGA greats are a very special part of my library.

The Babe Zaharias film has been chopped up and only shows where she is hamming it up for the crowd, as she often did. Before that was a beautiful view of her wonderfully athletic swing. Unfortunately these videos have their file size reduced by X on uploading. See if this works.

Today is the final round of the Founders Cup on the LPGA Tour. This year marks 75 years of the @lpga. Some special footage below of founders Patty Berg, Babe Didrikson Zaharias & the Bauer sisters. They were wonderful players but also characters & ambassadors, spreading the game.

Rest In Peace Kultida Woods. Putting together this photo montage from many Tiger books was an easy task, every photo full of joy and positive energy, which is how she will be remembered. Kultida played the role of an understated matriarch like figure in golf to perfection.

It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning. My Mom was a force of nature all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, greatest supporter, without her none of my personal achievements would have been possible. She was loved by so many,  but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you Mom.

@rlmgrandpa @SProctorGolf That’s Lawson Little. I’m sure Bobby would take it as a compliment to be confused with the physique of “The Cannonball”. Though you may have been referring to another video! I agree on the bunkering. I have been gathering photos of the more natural blown out style from this era.

@SProctorGolf @TrevorImmelman Cypress Point would have preferred he stayed an amateur. He played there a lot but then when he turned pro he was no longer welcome. Even when the tour stopped there he had to change his shoes in the carpark.
