The low should either come at this ICL in September (!!!), or the next one in January 2025.
I didn't expect

to actually manage a DCL here, but it has, so it could be an ICL. But my instinct says that isn't the case. The previous IC only has 3 daily cycles, so a 5th here would give a nice average of 4.
We also just had a lower-high ICH, so I think it's reasonable

On Thursday August 16, 2007 the fed cut rates after the $SPX had declined by about 12% in 20 days. The market then rallied for 39 days into Oct 11, setting the top before the GFC.
If stocks continue down into the FOMC meeting on Wednesday and they cut rates, 39 days from that

RT - Right Translated - The cycle's highpoint comes in the second half of that cycle. This most frequently leads to continuation in uptrend.
LT - Left Translated - The cycle's highpoint comes in the first half of that cycle. Most frequently leads to decline.

Consistent 17 year cycle tops. Some declines were smaller and within a clear bull market (1990, down 20%). Others were larger/end of a bull market (1973, 2008 50+% declines).

an ICL. If we looked at it as just a DC, we have high 1, decline, high 2 with negative divergence, so we should now expect a ICL somewhere around $1850-1880. That's the bullcase.

To this dismay of goldbugs worldwide, $GDX has failed in it's intermediate cycle, which means that after we print an ICL, (soon) we can expect 1RT daily cycle and then perhaps an ICH coming in DC2, before the next ICL comes in March(ish) 2024. That low has a good chance of being

Congrats to everyone that was positioned bullishly!
The most recent DC for each was very long, so getting a shorter one (perhaps around 30 trading days or a bit less) is likely.

Wife stepped out with the kids... so here's a quick $GDX video. I don't prep these videos, so if it seems somewhat adhoc... then you're perceptive.
We've got a confirmed DCL on day 38 for $GDX aswe suspected would be the case. Need to be cautious here with a tight SL at the level of the daily backtest imo. It looks good for continuation as it bounced off the bull fork yesterday. But things can change quickly.

likely printed a late DCH and will now decline into a DCL. The last DC was very long (53 days, so I think this decline could be quite quick. There's no good inclining TL so I'm using the support/resistance area around $1900 as a potential target.

$SPX Weekly - If the 4YCL was to come before Christmas... maybe it could look like this? Fractal is taken from the 2022 Jan top into the LT - 36 bottom of June 2022. The last 2 intermediate cycles were short, so a longer one here would make sense.

is in the timing band for it's 30 year high. Note the negative divergence from the HCH to the CH. A close below the rising TL and MA10 are required to confirm the 30 year low.

If we add Malcolm's analysis and overlay it with the series of 17year cycle tops, we have a minimum 20% correction heading into summer.
My modified long term chart of $SPX indicates that each 4 year low is often preceded by a 3 year low. Feb 2024 is month 47 in the 4 year cycle with the last two 4 year cycle lows being in months 52 and 49. May 2024 is month 50

has found a 4hr low and and in all likelihood an HCL on day 16 as well. Should move up over the next few days to form a 'dch' (lower than HCH) before rolling over into a DCL.

If we confirm a DCL on $SPX, it's also likely to be an ICL as we closed below the TL beginning back at the previous ICL. But the expectation here (if we confirm the DCL/ICL) would be a YCH early in this intermediate cycle. Maybe the DCH of DC1 or the HCH of DC2.

intermediate hourly cycle looks great. The pullback has been 🤮inducing, but after 1 RT cycle, the expectation is another. The cycle lasted (so far) 265 hours and 173 were spent going up.
