Game 1: DeWitt forced numerous turnovers early with their press allowing them to get their transition game going to score 21 straight & build a 25-2 lead before the end of the 1st qtr. Jenison calmed down & essentially played them even over the middle 2 quarters, entering the 4th down 53-33, but DeWitt's bench ended the game on a 17-2 run to put the game away. DeWitt wins 76-37. Sr Tara Kurncz (pictured-r) led the charge in transition, getting to the rim repeatedly on the break & adding a trio of 3s in the half court offense to post a game high 26 for DeWitt. Sr Selena Titus (pictured-l) was crafty off the drive, also hit a trio of 3s, & hunted down rebounds for team-highs in points (19), rebounds (8), & assists (3) for Jenison.
