Aang had trouble with earth because his personality wasn't suited to it. He spent his entire life being taught to value principles that were counterintuitive to earthbending.
Korra knew she was the avatar at like 5. By the time of season one she's had a decade of training.
So like damn near every artist on the planet, I adore Yoji Shinkawa's art. His work fundamentally changed my young mind.
Every few years I go back and try to figure out how to take what I love from his work and put it through my brain. It never goes well. 😭

You spend significantly more time in a relationship not having sex to having sex. If you can’t love someone when sex isn’t on the table, you’re not actually in love. You’re just horny.

I’ll keep saying it until I’m blue in the face: these AI guys are confusing art and consumption. They’ve fallen victim to capitalism’s influence on art, and are so inexperienced that they don’t realize it.

I *love* the actual history and biography of da Vinci. We know him as this genius and artist above all others, but he was just a straight up screw up until later in his life when all the lessons he learned via failure started turning into something.
@shadmbrooks
Those are pretty normal notes and feedback critiques, my man. Every artist who spent any time in college has gotten them. It’s not worth a freshman meltdown.
Just learn the basic principles of art and apply them. You’re not under attack, you’re bringing this all on yourself.

Just admit that you dislike artist and be done with it.
Literally nothing you’ve shown here is beyond the skill level of any artist who’s serious about the craft. All you’re really doing is cheating yourself out of the true benefits of the creative process.
