I’m a sucker for old school minor league team photos. This one features the first African-American to play for the Cardinals, Tom Alston. As well as former Negro Leaguer, Charlie Peete. Both had sad endings. Peete died in a plane crash at 27, & Alston battled mental illness.

@CardsThings 1923 W515-1 hand cut Miller Huggins Tough to find cards from this era in such amazing condition. The surface is immaculate. Definitely cut a little too good, but front and back are mint. $150 shipped
