Today marks 28 years in service for COASTER! February 27, 1995, COASTER service commenced with 6 morning trains and 6 evening trains. 28 years later, COASTER runs 30 daily trips weekdays with 2 added trips Fridays, and 20 daily weekend trips between Oceanside and San Diego!

cab and 3 coaches before they start revenue service this fall. Testing includes commissioning each car, static/yard testing, mid-testing activities and dynamic testing. Not all trains stop at all stations, please stay clear of the tracks!
