A man has died after a collision on the A419 Cirencester Road around 10.30am yesterday (Weds) - we're appealing for witnesses/dashcam. A silver VW Polo collided with a tree near Dobbies Garden Centre. Two people in their 80s are in a critical condition:

We are pleased to update that missing man James has now been found safe and well. The 35-year-old was reported missing from #Gloucester and had not been seen since yesterday afternoon (Tuesday). Officers would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal or submitted info.

A man has been jailed after he admitted to burgling a house in #Cheltenham and climbing onto the roof to evade police. Winston Allen, aged 59 and formerly of Cheltenham, was sentenced to two years and four months in prison. More here:

A man has died following a collision on Harbour Road in Lydney this morning. We were called at around 6am with a report a Zontes ZT125-U motorcycle had collided with a stationary lorry on Harbour Road. We're appealing for witnesses - read more here:

The #A40 remains CLOSED westbound between the #M5 J11 and the #A417 near #Gloucester due to flooding following heavy rainfall. There is no indication at this time of how long this closure will remain in place.

A stretch of the A417 is closed in both directions at Crickley Hill following a serious two-vehicle collision which happened around 12.30pm. We’re in attendance alongside both the ambulance and fire service and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.

The M5 southbound carriageway remains closed between junctions 11a and 12 while an investigation takes place & we're working with Highways to resolve the backlog of traffic. A teenage girl has been taken to hospital with serious injuries and we're appealing for dashcam/witnesses.
