Officers are appealing for witnesses after two people were injured during an assault on the High Street last week. A man and woman were kicked outside Cotswold Kebab at around 2.30am on Thursday 2 January sustaining facial injuries. More:

A wanted man was arrested & recalled to prison thanks to PCSOs Barry & Harvie. The pair were on patrol in the town centre on Monday when they spotted a man who was wanted on recall in connection with burglary offences. The man ran away but was followed & stopped by the pair.

We've relaunched an operation to help keep the public and businesses safe from anti-social behaviour and theft in the lead up to Christmas. Operation Cracker is running until Christmas Eve to ensure that there is not a rise in incidents of anti-social behaviour or thefts.

We took in an operation this morning as part of our annual Christmas anti drink and drug driving campaign #OpLimit. Six motorists were dealt with for mobile phone offences, no-one provided a positive breath test & one motorist was dealt with for not wearing their seat belt.

A prolific shoplifter who targeted businesses across #Cheltenham on numerous occasions has been sentenced to 18 months in prison. Emily Dixon, aged 39, appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court for sentencing last Thursday (12 Dec) More:

An evacuation took place near to Hester's Way Police station after two suspected grenades were handed in earlier. A cordon was put into place and nearby buildings were evacuated as a safety precaution. EOD deemed the items to be safe and the cordons have now been removed.

In the lead up to Christmas, PC's & PCSO's are out on foot patrol in high visibility and plain clothes in the Town Centre, to help deter and prevent shoplifting. So far, we have had a successful #OPKRACKER, with numerous shoplifters caught and dealt with #TEAM3
