Exposing GAM3SGG for what they really are... In late 2023, GAM3SGG reached out to Moonfrost during the lead-up to our first closed alpha playtest. At the time, our community was small, and internal testing was still in its infancy. Even during these early stages, GAM3SGG expressed a keen interest in supporting Moonfrost and providing their players access to our game. However, with Alpha Release 1 (AR1) capped at 500 testers, we chose to limit participation to our core community members and avoided involving external communities. Fast forward to May 2024: GAM3SGG learned that our Alpha Release 2 (Farming Fest) was about to launch, and they immediately reached out to collaborate. Despite explaining that we weren’t pushing too hard on paid partnerships due to our early-stage alpha testing, GAM3SGG didn’t hesitate. They created a bespoke service, driven solely by their desire to support our game development and give their players access to Moonfrost. We began with a single social quest—and the results were extraordinary. GAM3SGG’s efforts helped us gain over 8,000 new followers and achieve 10,000 email conversions via registered referral codes, within one week! Beyond this, they supported us with high-impact marketing activations, including SEO-enriched blog content, livestreams, and vertical short-form videos (one of which even went semi-viral, over 13,000 likes!). What GAM3SGG didn’t know at the time was that ‘Farming Fest’ also doubled as a "play-to-mint" campaign. Many of their players ended up qualifying to mint our FROST-Hunter Genesis Collection NFTs, which were free to mint (players only paid gas fees) and came with 0% royalties. Selection criteria for mint eligibility was straightforward and we showcased this after the event... Selection was focused on players who had actively played Moonfrost. No whitelist spots were given to influencers, KOLs, community collaborations, or other solely marketing initiatives. You had to play the game! This approach, was highlighted by Helika in a tweet, demonstrated how we could be setting a new standard by targeting and rewarding actual players. 'The assumption is that this will lead to higher retention rates. So far, this appears to be accurate, with the retention rate significantly surpassing the benchmark.' A strategy that naturally included many members of the GAM3SGG community. The FROST-Hunter License is currently sitting at 0.25 eth per license… Without all utilities known to holders (yes that is a hint). Throughout Q3 and Q4 of 2024, GAM3SGG continued to support Moonfrost across marketing, community-building, and infrastructure activations, which we are exceptionally grateful for. The ‘icing on the cake’ came when the GAM3SGG team reached out and said, we’ve been nominated for four awards at the GAM3 Awards, we were so surprised. We didn’t ask anyone to vote for us, as we didn’t believe we were ready (still being in closed alpha regardless, people continued to vote and then we were IMMENSELY honoured to actually win our first game studio award being titled ‘Best Art Direction’ of 2024. As we were against other games with much larger budgets and teams we were ecstatic that the independent judges and the community of voters believed us worthy of this incredible title (thank you to everyone who voted). So why would they (GAM3SGG) do this? We had made it clear to GAM3SGG that during our closed alpha phase, we wouldn’t allocating large funds for paid marketing. Our focus was on refining the game to ensure it was fun, engaging, and ready for monetization when the time came. Not only did GAM3SGG understand this vision—they went above and beyond to support us. I can’t speak for them, but one thing is certain: the GAM3SGG team genuinely cares about fostering high-quality games in the web3 space, and they are committed to championing projects they and their vast community believe in, this is the big secret. That there are companies out there (like GAMESGG) that want us to win as an industry not just make a profitable business that extracts value instead of giving it! Additionally, in 2024, Moonfrost engaged in three other soft partnerships. While I won’t name them, I can confidently say that GAM3SGG stood out as the best partner in terms of; support, communication, deliverables, and measurable results—whether it was social growth, community expansion, player engagement, or web3 asset adoption. We are incredibly proud to call GAM3SGG a partner, and we’re excited about what the future holds for both of us. To the entire GAM3SGG team and community: thank you for believing in our vision of delivering a premium-quality life-farm sim to the masses. We are Moonfrost, and this is just the beginning of our journey together.

How do I tell my boss that she’s better at content than me? 😅 Jokes aside, back in December, Gina came to me and said: "I’ve had a mad idea I’d like to run by you!" That idea? To start a YouTube channel a personal vlog documenting what it’s truly like to be a Co-founder, Art Director, Mother, and advocate for self-growth and wellness. Gina’s content is some of the most transparent, honest, and raw you’ll find in our space (minus my height claim in her latest video). No inflated metrics, no egos, no exaggerated claims—just real, personal content showcasing her journey and Moonfrost’s. One of the things I love about her approach is how she keeps the Moonfrost community involved. She may not be able to be in the trenches for hours each day, but she’s found her own way to connect. Instead of hiring a "reply guy" to farm impressions, she asked players what they actually want to know about our journey—and then turned those questions into long-form videos. It’s been just one month since she launched the channel, and I’m blown away by her growth and consistency: 📈 4,000+ incredible subscribers 📹 5 long-form videos 👀 15,000+ views Gina, you’re absolutely smashing it!
