The racial takes on this case has been terrible. The take seems to be that she shouldn’t be presumed innocent because they wouldn’t extend the same courtesy to minorities. But that makes no sense, we should want the fair standard to apply to her so it can apply to EVERYONE!

Read this from the Letby case. She was convicted in a case where:
1. doctors placed catheters in the wrong position TWICE,
2. inserted and removed a line in panic,
3. the pathologist concluded there was a relationship btw the line insertion and the death.
The narrative on the Letby case goes that the babies were otherwise healthy and there was no other reason why they may have died. Read this about Child A however…
(Letby was also convicted of murder in this case 👍🏿)
