Yesterday, I met with Alicia van den Boom, Head of Cooperation at the German Embassy. We explored the sexual and reproductive health and rights landscape in Uganda, highlighting progress and challenges, including the importance of joint efforts for health systems strengthening.

As part of #16DaysAgainstGBV, I joined the @SwedEnvoyUganda, @HonRegis @PaulinaUNWomen at @sauti116 to spotlight progress in GBV prevention & response. Together with partners, we’ve enhanced case management, empowered women, and advanced GBV and SRHR efforts for a safer Uganda.
Today, @UNFPAUganda, @SwedeninUG, @unwomenuganda, &partners joined @Mglsd_UG at the Kampala District Action Centre, Kireka, to commemorate the 16 Days of Activism by promoting GBV services, showcasing prevention efforts, & strengthening partnerships to advance the SAUTI project.
