I'm still not convinced about MDG. He doesn't look as composed as some of the other defenders and always seems to look like a mistake about to happen, IMO.

Such a shame we don’t piggy-back talent to take us up levels.
Instead, we let talent piggy-back us and leave us behind.
Once Phillips and Connell leave in the next 12 months - given there is literally nothing in the pipeline - we are toast.

Robbo’s had plenty of flack so far but it’s pretty evident that there’s nobody ready to take his place. How Pines was our main target all of last season I’ll never know. Proper calamity!
We’re a far cry away from the perfectly balanced attributes of a Thomas/Mads/Kitch back 3…

Julie Anne, please, this is so patronising. We’re not a fanbase of millionaires. Our football club isn’t just a new throwaway hobby to us - we care deeply. We’re desperate to buck the trend of the biennial break-up of a good squad and relationship between club and supporters. 👍

Been here 5 yrs: Barring one good season at LWB - a position he plays unwillingly - he’s been a drain on the club.
I get we’re a stepping stone club, but the idea is to earn your stripes.
Pleased he’s someone else’s burden.

Wholesale changes at HT completely unnecessary.
Deffo got the players for this to click. Lack a bit of intelligence at back and I think we ought to have recruited a more experienced GK.

As much as Humphrys is a good player, he looks miles off being fit enough to start games.

I’m content with not blocking opportunities for Cozzie and Max to prove their worth…
Good players for the level; didn’t go to plan last season for one reason or another.
Both already off the mark, and ought to really benefit with a player like DKD in supply chain.

Good to hear Collins is being professional about it. Folk are quick to forget he’s been here for four and a half years including a Champ playoff campaign. It’s hard for a keeper - that they can’t come on in fits and starts just to get game time under the belt. He’s been terrific.

Everyone dispensing of Max in their best XI’s.
Surely it’s not an unpopular opinion to prefer the pace, mobility, and technique, of a Humphrys/Watters partnership, with DKD in the pockets, over clubbing balls up to Cozzie?
It’s a much more sustainable way to play/attack…
Playing off the back of long balls is where both strikers thrive, yet their differing attributes complement each other.
It’s long been an issue that despite winning headers, no one has been able to play off Cosgrove.
Humphrys could be the missing piece that gets us ticking.
