@synalx @Armandotrue We are actually having problems at my new company because of that because people included functionality in those classes that should have been placed in a service. I totally prefer an object that corresponds an interface. Let us remember that a class ends up in the bundle.

@mgechev mentions Vite, Vitest and RSPack. Despite of me being skeptical about the authoring format and style guide (I will always declare components as TS classes and will never remove the suffix in the filename) the future for our framework is bright

It makes me sad that the @angular team disrespects the people who have been faithful to Angular from the beginning, the brave people who fought for Angular when others moved to React or Vue. Making Angular less opinionated is not a good idea.

@rainerhahnekamp Me neither man. I just checked that today and there were comments from October 2024. I think removing the construct type from the name of the file is not a good idea.

This is so interesting.
Old trick. Been doing it since 2012 when my boss showed me how he swapped Knockout's templating to do it. This optimization is available because Signals separate creation from update logic(unlike VDOM). It is why we are now seeing libraries like Svelte follow in these footsteps.

This could be really something.

@rainerhahnekamp To be honest I would not like at all that Angular starts declaring components differently from Typescript classes. I think we should maintain that while not having to re-implement TS in templates.

I would like to share that I will be attending @ngPolandConf. If any of you is going to be there we will be sharing the experience together.

I confess I didn't know you can declare a signal within a computed(). Watching @synalx writing code in a Markdown file by heart is really amazing too.
