Yesterday was my last working day @DerbyshireFRS after over 31 years and the last 5 1/2 as CFO. It’s been a fantastic journey and experience, an honour and privilege to have worked in the sector and Service, alongside @DerbysPolice @EMASNHSTrust and others. Will miss you all 🚒

Proud and honoured to have been presented with my Kings Fire Service Medal today at Windsor Castle by the Princess Royal in recognition of my contribution to the fire sector over 30+ years for @DerbyshireFRS and @NFCC_FireChiefs it’s always been a team effort, thanks to all 👍🚒

A superb day, 40th anniversary of the event and I was honoured be invited to represent @DerbyshireFRS and take the Fire Brigade Bands salute at the closing of the day. 🙏👏
