At 22:13 hrs crews from

attended reports of a vehicle fire on The Drift, Barrowby. This was severe damage by fire to one Vauxhall Zafira. Fire was out on arrival believed to have burnt itself out. Inspection only
by F&R.

attended reports of a single vehicle RTC on Lincoln Rd, Fenton. F&R used Holmatro cutting gear and small tools to extricate one male from the vehicle, made vehicle safe by disconnecting battery.

attended St Lawrence Street, Horncastle to a caravan on fire. Crews used breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, short extension ladders, thermal imaging cameras and small tools to extinguish.

attended a RTC on A46 at Swinderby. Crew removed vehicle from carriageway into layby and absorbent to soak up oil spill on road.

Many fire calls to student accommodation are false alarms.
Most false alarms are caused by carelessness, negligence, or reckless behaviour and can easily be avoided.

attended a fire within a house on Heather Gardens, North Hykeham. Fire damage to an e-bike and smoke damage to the whole flat. Extinguished by owner and inspected by our crews. Caused by a fault within the e-bike lithium battery.
