Proud and Happy day for me and family.
After 17 years in the

I've been selected for promotion to Warrant Officer 2 Catering Services.
The first batch of WO2's in the Royal Navy Logistics branch under transformation.

It's going to get to the point if it hasn't already for those employed unable to travel to their place of work due to fuel prices.
5p off a litre in fuel duty has done nothing.
In Flanders' fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row.
This does not glorify War, it's an act of Remembering those that have given All.

You cannot grasp the true scale of sacrifice that was made by so many. Rows upon Rows of lost futures, this is why those looking to tarnish the

In the 1990's I remember visiting RAF Chivenor open days as a child when growing up in N.Devon.
Tomorrow I start my assignment at Commando Logistics Regiment, Chivenor.
Nearly 30 years on, feels a bit surreal.

RIP Clifford Coates, was an honour to meet you and be in your company in 2019, a surprise we were both from Bideford.
Heaven has gained another True Hero.
Air Marshal Bagwell said: "I was disappointed to see that everybody immediately turned this into NATO versus Russia.
It has got to be UN, it needs that universal mandate... this is not a binary fight between [Vladimir Putin] and NATO. This is him versus the world."
Next week it will be 215th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar.
October 21st 1805.
Let's not forget our Naval History.
Our future could of been a lot different. ⚓ ⚓ ⚓

Joined the RN as a cook, a driver of the Landing Craft that completed 12 runs to Juno Beach with Canadian Troops.
A true hero. RIP.
It's over. Fantastic support received today. Family and friends plus others I have never met before.
48.2 miles in total and a very good amount raised for

Thank you

Agree, it is easy for me to say. I would feel sorry for the employees but I do believe it's more scare tactics. If the MP's cared about jobs so much then this mess of BREXIT would have been sorted some time ago!!
I don't normally tweet photos of family but during this adverse time it's good to look back and this is one of my favourites from 2019.
Anyone else want to share their favourites from last year?
Over the years I've been honoured to speak with Veterans from different Wars.
It's vitally important as the older generation Pass the Bar we keep the Act of
#Remembrance
alive and Remember the Sacrifices that have been made.

The RBL comes in for a lot of unnecessary criticism.
I know of people that have been directly supported by this charity and the good work that does go on.
Therefore, I wear my

Being awarded or decorated does not mean carte blanche over every other opinion than your own.
If you are that important, then you should be able to listen and reply in a logical manner.
I've encountered many Veterans in work, as friends and when conducting charitable events.
Believe me when I say that they are not all Broken!!!
A negative reputation is starting to occur of how our Veterans are perceived by those that have no affiliation with the Armed Forces 👎
This place, Hope 2 Cycle.
Life savers. New tyre and spare inner tube after todays unfortunate luck.

Hot one today and the

This is absolutely appalling.
How does any organisation believe this is a good way to inspect and get a true reflection of how things are done.
Good morning All
Thinking of all those brave people and shipmates that were involved 75 years ago this week for the
#DDay75
Landings.
We must never forget those that made the ultimate sacrifice so we can live the life we do today
Enjoyed my first outing on the bike since
#JacksJourney
and in recognition of
@Noble67Allan
for all he does, I visited and paid my respects to
@CWGC
at Cannock Chase. There are British, German and New Zealanders laid to rest here.

This AO has been challenging and enjoyable.
Thanks to oppos for the leaving gizzits, very much appreciated.
All the best
@CommandoTRG
@ColSimonChapman
and everyone that keeps this place going.

People I'd rather have as Prime Minister than
@jeremycorbyn
1) Mr Blobby
2) George from Rainbow
3) Neil from Inbetweeners
I have no idea how that man is a Leader of anything, let alone a political party

2019 I've been directly involved in organising the following events for a Charity that I've been privileged to be Ambassador for:
Tab & Yomp
Pickle Ride
Pickle Night
Combined this has raised close to £50,000
Always surround yourself with positive people and the hardwork pays off
I reached out to almost everyone I know this evening, should have been done sooner as it turns out some are struggling for one reason or another.
Please, take the time:
Be a friend.
Be that person, listen to what they say.

2014 I put my mind and effort to fundraising for decent and life changing organisations.
2020 and I can say that I've directly raised nearly 100K for various charities and organisations with charitable intent.
Don't give an excuse to not make a difference, be the difference.
A few years back now.
I'm always impressed of how the Primary Schools I have encountered teach about

My daughters have an understanding of what it means to Pay Respects.

Some of the bigger charities in the
#Veterans
sector need a bloody good shake up.
Fed up with the picking and choosing of what they support.
If a
#Veteran
needs support, give it and do what you supposedly set up for!
It's the first time I've had to wear a face mask since Covid. Today it had to be done so could donate
@GiveBloodNHS
Once again brilliant Nurses and staff ensuring everyone was safe and well 👏
I had the pleasure of sharing the company of former Royal Marine Sergeant & D-day Veteran Clifford Coates last night. Very surprised to hear he is from where I grew up and still lives now.
Huge respect for Clifford. Thank you for sharing your experiences and for all you done.
Congratulations to all the

ranks selected for Warrant Officer today.
Some personal disappointment for myself with a decision to be made.

Being in the Armed Forces, I have to purchase two licenses. One for home and one for staying in my accommodation at Barracks. I don't have two driving licences 🤔
Given blood for the first time today. Effortless procedure. My only regret is that I have not done this sooner.
Great work by the Bristol Donor Centre

Fantastic weekend for

Respect to all those that participated and supported this event.
Must also thank

Military personnel on leave.
A lot more are putting on their out of office that any emails received during the leave period will be auto deleted.
Good idea?
I've seen quite senior figures adopt this approach.
12 months have passed since being presented with being Ambassador for
@CareafterCombat
Lots of good things going on and a position that still motivates me to do the best I can for this charity and our

The tweet yesterday regarding
#Veterans
charities shown just how many smaller organisations are willing to engage and support if they can.
Should all be about the person in need of support. Not egos or how much merchandise you bloody sell.
Finally got around to reading Anthony's open and honest account of his time in the

His book
@BrokenByWar
is a must read. His most recent and deserved nomination for Inspiration from the
@AwardsVeterans
I really hope his book makes a change for the good.
