Victory formation! How 'bout that?? Huge game by the defense!
Stanford is 3-1 on the road. Breaks the losing streak to Wazzu. Still alive for a bowl game. Eric secures a push on his Vegas bet on Stanford over 3 wins!
Classic Big 10 West game.
Tough end, but liked the fourth down play. Feel bad for Raines. Wish EJ had tried a little harder for the first on his second down catch.
Tough game with Elic going down, no Yurosek. Best full game for the offense maybe? Daniels looking more comfortable.
Good cover.
One of the best things about being a Stanford football fan in the past decade and a half was getting to watch Andrew Luck in person so many times. Unlikely we'll ever get to see another like him again.
Announcer saying "do you believe now??" when Colorado wins in OT as a 23 point favorite is hilarious.
Like, no, man, this whole game has made us very skeptical!
@Softykjr
All September games in Arizona are scheduled in the evening because it is hot AF, always have been.
Also, the B1G (TV networks) took West Coast teams to have content for the 10/7 timeslot, so expect even more of that going forward.

Unless I'm missing it, the ball isn't actually visible in the picture (and appears to not be on the ground), so it's not actually telling me anything about whether it was offside or not. Not saying it wasn't, and it was moot, but this is not a useful photo.
I'm still mildly confident that this season that started with a terrible loss to a purple wildcat team will end in a blow out win over Iowa in the Rose Bowl, as is tradition.

We gush about Elic and the second half comeback against Colorado for most of this episode! (We tried not to talk about the first half much, and don't worry about our predictions for the UCLA game...).
Listen wherever you get podcasts, or below!
Thank you all for joining us through this miserable season. Let's all cross our fingers something happens to give us hope that it might get better.

Early signing day well under way. Almost all of Stanford's commits have signed.
Don't worry, we'll be back in a week or two for a season recap and to talk about some of these recruits!
Since they're between full stadiums, Hawaii uses their baseball stadium as a concourse (and has a fan fest on the baseball field).
Also they sell beer. Get with it
@GoStanford
.
Recruiting season going pretty well for the Cardinal, in case you were wondering. (4* QB, currently number 76 overall in the

composite. The future is now!)
COMMITTED 🌲🌲
@Hayesfawcett3
I am so thankful for the opportunities football has given me and for this recruiting process. Thank you to all my family, friends, and coaches. I am excited to announce I have committed to Stanford University!
Happy Father’s Day Dad 🖤
And so ends another Jerod Haase season that was exactly the same as every other Jerod Haase season.
Really hope someone in the AD cares about having a decent men's basketball team...
If you're curious, here's the breakdown for Stanford's ACC opponents from 2024-2030. We play everyone three times, except Cal and SMU (we play them every year).
We won't host Clemson and Virginia until 2028. We won't travel to FSU or Pitt until 2029!
New episode is out! We look back at the Hawaii win, look ahead to U$C (who we beat last time we were in LA...), and mention something about the ACC. Listen here or wherever you get your podcasts!
You know what, this is fine. Football is more fun when there are zero expectations. Remember how great it was in 2009 when we went to the sun bowl after being terrible for 8 years? 2025 or whatever is gonna be great.
EAT THE BEARS.
This season is meaningless and stupid, and this team isn't perfect, but I don't care because the axe is back where it's supposed to be and Cal is 0-3 garbage.

All the PAC12 mascots are in the corner cheering on ever play… and it’s just really sinking in, this is over. The PAC12 is over after this.
I’m glad they’re all here.
