I always think back to that Edge & Christian podcast from like 2017/2018 where they both talk about how much of a genius Kenny Omega is.
They are two of the biggest dorks when it comes to analysing storytelling and psychology. I think they both said Kenny is the best they’d seen
Bully Ray said he wishes Kenny Omega went to WWE, because that's where, by working with a guy like Randy Orton, he'd lawn to make things mean something, learn psychology and storytelling.

Darby Allin being Punk's handpicked first opponent is big.
Had to listen to these same takes with Cody. It's boring. When Punk puts someone over it'll mean more.
In my mind I think "Who's worked with CM Punk and got a positive rub in doing so?" and I come up with nothing.
Then I think "Has Mox elevated or given a positive rub to anyone in AEW?" and the answer is an easy yes.

Malakai is the kinda guy who can ramble about Hangman's demons and get inside Hangman's head.

Is this too many championships? Particularly for the men's singles division, many would say yes.
But actually it's the least crowded the title scene in AEW has felt in a long time because these titles now have IDENTITY, imo.

Bryan in WWE was incredible. It's so funny when people dismiss his run in WWE because "it wasn't the same as what he did in ROH."
It was still a genius at work. And to do it in that environment was special. Bryan doing that was harder than Bryan thriving with all the tools.

From Pac, to Orange Cassidy to Moxley, this has always been a "workhorse" title.
Frequent defences where the main story is about the champ overcoming.
The fact they've positioned Roddy Strong to challenge Cassidy suggests to me this is the belt's identity, even on a heel champ.
