My 90 year old dad painted this for me in my 50th year. From my hometown of Derry. I was only a few months old, the day The music died. There is no day it’s been so apt to show everyone.
Hi Mark
@HamillHimself
, any chance you could send my dad, Eddie O’Hare a Derry Legend, a 5 sec video saying hello for his 90th birthday please? We haven’t been able to visit for months, keeping him safe with covid. Thanks for considering our request. PLEASE RETWEET
@SamaraAfzal
I’m sorry to hear this. The problem with so many today it’s me me me. My rights, my beliefs. Not for a moment considering your next patient, and the next, or staff, no matter how ill they might be. Not to mention you and your family. Pure unadulterated selfishness. A pure B
I freaking love eBay. Can’t wait to test my new, old Acorn Electron. The Elk was the first machine I ever had! Maybe year 10 will have a slightly different lesson tomorrow.
Tributes have been paid to much respected and very well known local chemist, Eddie O’Hare, husband to the late Sally O’Hare, of Oakfield Road in Derry.
@Dr2NisreenAlwan
You’re 💯 correct it’s madness.
As a teacher we get emails of students testing positive. It’s not just school, masks should be worn everywhere outside of your home
@Pontifex
Holy father, could I kindly ask you to send a blessing to my father, Eddie O’Hare on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Thank you, the O’Hare family
My eldest brother Paul’s 45th Anniversary, today. He was 18 when he had a collision on the Gle Shane Pass. Been thinking about him a lot this week after Conor Devine’s tragic news last week. Remember the ones missing from your life, spend a moment and pray.
Two great Derry legends meet up this week. Eddie O’Hare, who I call dad, soon to be 92 and
@Drive105
NI and
@derrycityfc
legend Felix Healey. Dad loved the visit Felix, thank you.
Lovely wife
@Sandra_McA
excited as Sting sitting behind he’s in blue body warmer. I’m still LMAO. Ironically Sting playing on radio/playlist in background. I recon it’s

Belfast is full of cruise ship tourists today. Most look pretty sad, I’m guessing at the weather. It’s Ireland, we’re used to it! No bad weather, just poor clothing choices
Good morning Derry, I skipped a few. But I couldn’t resist this photo, the fog banks tapped in the Foyle valley, with some of the city peeking through. I’ll never tire of this view.
@ClaireByrneLive
Those who didn’t wear, will continue not to do so. Those empathetic to the vulnerable, or even self protection, as usual will continue to do so.
Visiting the in-laws at Garron Point for Easter. Lovely fresh day and the Mull of Kintyre is just visible in the early evening haze. Love the pale daffodils at the old homestead by the telephone exchange. Technology of days long past.
Visit to Grandad in Derry today, celebrating his 92nd birthday. Thanks to Felix for visiting and all the
@Drive105
team for daily tortures/request from dad
Delighted to announce a partnership with
@The_CodeShow

The sun is shining, a walk in the woods is imminent, as is a hair cut. But the lovely Mrs O’Hare aka
@Sandra_McA
has just had the birthday breakfast with her boys. Happy birthday Sandra x
@irarchaeology
I remember carving turnips and halving a candle to fit inside. Was pure carnage, lucky we didn’t cut our fingers off, turnip carving not for the faint hearted
@Dr2NisreenAlwan
My wife is a consultant plastic surgeon, she’s very peeved as every one is MR this MR than and then she’s introduced by her first name. She’d be 100% behind you
@Dr2NisreenAlwan
Happy mid winters day. The English have their mid summer Stonehenge. We have our winter solstice sun lit passage grave. 500 years before the first step pyramid, Newgrange
Good morning Derry with
@Sandra_McA
. It’s good to see you. We had a super meal last night at Castle Street Social, found an important new mural
@The_Undertones_

On international woman’s day, I’m more than thankful for the ladies that have been in my life. Namely my mum, RIP, and my lovely wife
@Sandra_McA
I’d be last without you

Two of my Dads paintings, one of Bunbeg house, Donegal. Painted in ‘97 a few years after retirement and learning to paint. One in 2020, when he’d stopped about 20 years. He’s 92 now, but that was last batch of paintings. Hanging proudly in my house

Happy to return to teaching, but please encourage masks in schools esp. post primary. Some staff have been shielding, some pupils too.
