@Beanmin_2 @fishPointer i usually put the pins on the pcb, then i put them on a breadboard and then i solder 1 or 2 pins in order to give the rest support. After that just solder normally.

@a19grey @QVHenkel My intuitive reasoning for warpage is that copper and fr4 have an uneven expansion coefficient, so you want an even amount of copper accros the board so one part doesn't expand more than the other during soldering.
