So much you could say about Nick. But the loveliest of men is perhaps the greatest tribute. Always enjoyed presenting with him. Taken way too young. Such a shock. x
"Nick has been a wonderful colleague. He was a hugely talented journalist, presenter and author – and one of those rare people who light up the lives of everyone around them." Head of News and Current Affairs at BBC Scotland Gary Smith pays tribute to Nick Sheridan.

@badger_funk @indyref_chris @PhantomPower14 I don’t believe it’s condescending in the context at all. A large country like the UK is clearly going to have more shared interests in terms of trade, security, foreign policy co-operation (Ukraine for example) etc than a small country.

@indyref_chris @badger_funk 2/2 My question was in response to a point about the UKG “defying” the US over the NI Protocol… hence the “grudge” reference… and I merely put it to him that the US and UK have more interests in common (intelligence, defence, trade etc) than with a smaller country like Ireland.
