Our boy’s book is published today. The final in his brilliant childrens’ trilogy.
So last night we did what we always did. We swam in our wee spot at Loch Lomond. And thought of him 💚❤️
"Nick has been a wonderful colleague. He was a hugely talented journalist, presenter and author – and one of those rare people who light up the lives of everyone around them."
Head of News and Current Affairs at BBC Scotland Gary Smith pays tribute to Nick Sheridan.
Giving a talk today to a Primary One class about being a News reporter. 1st questions out the block from them about my job:
- Were there dinosaurs in 1965?
- Will we be hit by a meteorite?
- Were you alive in The War? 😳
Best fun in ages 😁👏🤣
My dad dropped a grenade into Christmas dinner yesterday. He revealed .....
His TATTOO 🤣😱😬
Spat my drink out
A butterfly for my mum - and his granddaughters names.
He wants to go scuba diving next year 🤷🏻♀️🤪 OMFG
This is utterly sickening.

I know it is tough to lose a trusted adviser at the height of crisis, but when it’s a choice of that or integrity of vital public health advice, the latter must come first. That’s the judgment I and, to her credit, Catherine Calderwood reached. PM and Cummings should do likewise.

Thinking about the 167 lives lost in the Piper Alpha disaster on 6th July 1988. And those who survived. One in particular - Bob Ballantyne whose tireless campaigning changed the North Sea safety culture 🙏
