We mourn the loss of our co-founder & hero Larry Kramer. He was an extraordinary activist & inspiration to us all. He saved the lives of thousands of ppl affected by HIV/AIDS. He was a revolutionary who challenged the status quo. His legacy will live on.

The Restoration of Honor Act has been signed into law! This will create a process for LGBTQ veterans to apply for over 50 state benefits they are eligible for if dishonorably discharged under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Thank you, @bradhoylman, @DavidBuchwald & @NYGovCuomo! 🇺🇸🏳️🌈.
BREAKING: I just signed legislation giving veterans who were denied honorable discharge due to their LGBTQ identity the right to have their NYS benefits restored. With this measure we are sending a message to LGBTQ veterans that we have their backs, just as they had ours.
