@justdiffere @JimChuong Condo fees suck but they are typically between 400 and 700$. Where they are high they are around 1000$. Most of the time they include heat and water bills as well. 2000$ is possible but pretty extreme.

@shagbark_hick Speed limits across the board are lower in Canada. This is one of the main reason why their ped death stats look so much better than USA.

@shagbark_hick One reason for these ped deaths is vehicles (mainly trucks) just keep getting bigger.

@RhysSullivan This isn't the worst part of finder. You also can't cut and paste files. Among many other things. I also hate that you can't copy and paste or edit the full folder path Finder makes the mac experience bad. It's one thing Apple could fix to win over a lot of customers.

@reecethebrah Wrong. Car shop rates are 150$+ an hour. So I make that when repairing my own car. I also have self reliance, and when I fix my friends car I build valuable community and people who will have my back. Also I can always pivot to a lucrative in demand career of auto mechanic.

@MurrayMack4 @shagbark_hick People definitely drink it in Alberta. And yes let's be honest, there isn't much cultural difference between prairie farmers regardless of they are from Alberta, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan.

@MurrayMack4 @shagbark_hick Pilsner is most popular in Saskatchewan. Largely known as THE beer for stubble jumpers (Saskatchewanites). But it's made by Molson in many of their breweries and sold all across the country.

@BlakeKellii @larsiusprime This is already pretty much the reality though. Many social media sites are dumb chat GPT bots replying to dumb bots

@larsiusprime I predict it will have internet level impact. It will be a big deal, but not ruin humanity or anything.

I've reached the point in adulthood where purchasing new items not only doesn't get me excited, it's disappointing and a let down. This means that beyond the basics and providing security, money has little value to me. This has reduced my spending rate and will help me retire

@shagbark_hick @BigIron_Enjoyer The surprising truth is that in a lot of cases the more you get paid the less you have to work, stress is lower and you arn't micromanaged. Lots of people making 100k plus that can basically do whatever they want when they want as long as they fulfill core responsibilities.
