As a Minecraft content creator, if your'e struggling to find consistent sponsorships, or brand partnerships for your channel, you should look into starting a Minecraft server.
There are tons of benefits, such as
- Increased MRR
- New content opportunities
- Complete flexibility
I’m 25 Years Old.
I’ve never:
• Smoked.
• Taken drugs.
• Been clubbing.
• Been to a pub.
• Been drunk.
Instead I:
• Started a Minecraft server
• Got married.
• Had a son.
• Run multiple side hustles.
• Work. Work. Work.
I get mocked every day.
I don’t
My wife and I finalised our divorce today, and she got custody of our kids 💍❌
Here's 10 things that it taught me about running a successful Minecraft server:
🧵 1/?
What's crazy that because this year is Minecraft's 15th anniversary, in 3 years time, a majority of YouTuber's will lose interest in the game; given that it's turning 18.
Hi there :)
I'm looking for someone to do some texture/model work on a commission basis :D - It's for YTer videos
If interested, DM me, or try add me on Discord (gianluca), but I might be at the friend cap, and if that's the case, join the server in replies to message :)
I finally joined the discord and telegram where all the gurus leverage eachother for fake screenshots, and have tools to artificially inflate Shopify store stats, YouTube studio graphs, as well as an SMS tool to fake texts
So many familiar faces and those who are “authentic” in
Excuse me? What?
"color property can now contain RGB value prefixed by #. For example
#55ff55
will result in the same color as green."
@Mojang
@Dinnerbone
@jeb_
- whoever implemented this feature deserves a pat on the back
It's no secret that P2W servers make a ton more than non-P2W ones. But, the issue at hand is if your server isn't at least somewhat P2W, even at a basic level, it will struggle to survive amongst the sea of other servers.
For example, the (rough) startup costs for one of my old
Minecraft pay to win servers. They are bad right? Well, lets actually investigate that.
Big vid, 36 mins long - goes over lots of stuff I've wanted to talk about for a while, give it a watch!
I swear Minecraft has the best community managers;
@HelenAngel
and
@Chupacaubrey
- you can tell they actually care about this community. Whenever one of their tweets or retweets appear on my TL, it’s always so positive
Apologies for the mic quality, but a quick showcase of the game mode switcher feature in the latest snapshot! You can now use F3 + F4 to access this menu
@TheHorizon2b2t
It’s not Pay to Win, it’s Pay to Play. The paid slots wouldn’t give any other advantage, other than being guaranteed a slot to play.
Many civilization creators have something like this, and a few have a monthly Patreon type rank/role - it also provides additional revenue that
A fair few server owners follow me, so, I'm curious, what are your takes on the Combat Snapshots? Are they enough to get you off 1.8? Is it going to cause another split? Or?
Referencing yesterday where it was mentioned we could provide some feedback into assisting in a possible overhaul of the rules towards Java servers, a private channel was made. I'm looking to gather a few server owners who'll be able to discuss this in a civil manner to add to it
Minecraft is going to make a crazy return between this year and next.
Old school YouTubers are back, OG plugin/mod developers are back, the community is growing and they’re overhauling combat in 1.15 and servers may finally be able to update.
@TheMisterEpicYT
Maybe with TubNet (lmao), and MCCIsland, we’ll see an additional 2 servers reach higher player counts. Plus, the foreign community also is doing well in both counts and innovation
@Pigicial
@SethBling
@docm77
It will not be exactly as 1.8, but I want to make sure everybody gets a chance to give feedback, including bedrock players
In 2022, I;
- Broke up with my girlfriend
- Lost one of my most highest paying positions with one of the largest YouTubers on the platform
- Got somewhat addicted to gambling
Now, in 2023, I’m;
- Sitting at $22,000 monthly recurring revenue
- Helping a lot of creators increase
I’ve been doing Minecraft stuff since 2010 (I was 12), and full time since 2015 (17). I’m now 23, and still doing it.
Through the ups ands downs, the good and the bad, I wouldn’t trade this job for anything!
Not to mention all the amazing people I’ve met and friendships built
@TheMisterEpicYT
Interesting video
But, it may be worth mentioning that a lot of the channels are boosted (not botted) by what are called "view increasers", or, as it was known during the weird (non-Minecraft) related Instagram fad A panels.
How these work is they'll have access to a lot of
@alex_ilemon
MC Monday got hacked and their IPs were accessible in games and apparently the hacker was leaking them. So, given that it’s so common, why not cut out the steps /s
Minecraft server owners will spend 1,000s of dollars on:
• An illustrated logo, icon, and animated voting banner
• Custom Ghost and Tebex themes
• Spawns and lobbies
But, will complain about a lack of concurrent players. Yet, they won't nail their:
• Server/gamemode
Minecraft multiplier is finished. It’s almost impossible for new, unique and innovative servers to thrive.
Server lists are full of botted votes. Servers are spoofing upwards of 10x their original counts. Influencers are overpriced.
There’s no innovation with any “large” server
Introducing TrackedServers 2
- Updated to MineTrack 5
- Updated Design
- Revamped Server List*
* Now tracks 59 popular servers, as opposed to just random servers

Minecade, UHCZone, WynnCraft and OG Hive
Gotta shameless plug MinePark, which was a project with Keemstar, Leafy and almost every major influencer (not even just in Minecraft) was gonna be involved. It was gonna be the public version of Minecraft Monday, the old creator event
How to make a Minecraft server in 2020
- Create a Twitter and website for your (unregistered) holding company
- Fork TacoSpigot and add like 2 publicly available patches (and rename the JAR)
- Buy a premade setup and tweak it
- Get unknown premade builds
How did
@PlayChasecraft
hold over 800 players? How did
@SharksCraft
hold over 275 on a single instance?
The answer is simple. We cancelled the ServerLagEvent
OMG :O The Block Game is (finally) introducing Transfer Packets, but, what are they? And, why is every sever owner rejoicing at this addition?
In short, they allow for us to automagically connect/send players to other servers.
But, we've had proxies like BungeeCord and Velocity
It's really nice to see a lot of people take inspiration from
@OriginRealms
and create unique assets and gameplay features. Whether or not anything will come from it is irrelevant for now, it's just nice that we finally have some innovative ideas being passed around
How much $$ I’ve made from my Minecraft projects in 2024:
Jan: $0
Feb: $0
March: $0
April: $0
May: $0
June: $0 (on going)
I’d like to think this year has been pretty consistent.
The reason for this is because my earnings and accounts are in a different currency to USD
I got my account hacked and need someone to write me an essay on how to get back stolen bitcoin from a thumbnail designer and logo maker who can edit videos in the style of Iman Gadzhi
