@GjaMacphee @NHS_Martin @ShepherdNeame Used to get a great pint of Master Brew in the Castle in Ashford on the early 80s. This is now the Halifax Building Society. The other pub of note in the late 80s was the Prince Albert in New Street. Now sadly demolished but oddly the pub sign is still there.

@StymieSi Last went in there on Christmas Eve, 2009. The snow was falling. I don’t recall it being that hospitable.
