Another one of my friends has left the U.K. for Dubai Why? Because he feels like paying taxes in the U.K. is a scam, when: Dubai: No income tax. No capital gains tax. Yet the city thrives. Clean. Safe. Thriving economy & opportunity everywhere U.K. 20% VAT. 25% Corp tax. 40%+ income tax. 15% National insurance tax. Yet broken public services. High crime. Failing economy. So another high earner exiled from the U.K. Why?
