My husband just came home crying. My pathology came back and I found out I actually do have cancer. It was in both ovaries. It’s melanoma coming from somewhere and they don’t know where. It’s extremely rare. I’ll be starting immunotherapy soon. I’m numb. This is not good. Please

My husband just spoke with my naturopathic doc and he looked over my scans and said that even though it’s not great news it’s very good news that it didn’t spread to any organs and that we’re still in “lymph node mode” and we’re going to hit it hard. I’ll be starting with

My PET scan results came back and all we were told by the nurse according to the notes my oncologist gave her was that there are multiple lymph nodes consistent with melanoma. We don’t know how many or where though. She had no answers for us other than treatment doesn’t change

Back still hurting today so my husband picked up some cbd balm to rub on it and it seems to be helping. I feel very tired today, my stomach is bothering me and my sinuses and chest are congested so going to start using my neti pot. Praying I get back on my feet tomorrow.

My husband and I I went on a walk and I was able to go a bit faster and longer than I initially thought. I was afraid I would be too sore but was actually in very little pain. Felt good. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it again tomorrow. 👍😊

Oncologist appointment went ok today. I wasn’t thrilled about it. The oncologist is very nice but a bit gloomy. I was hoping for someone upbeat who encouraged me instead of just giving me data. Didn’t really want to talk about it so I’ll just leave it at that. Listened to worship

Got hooked up to an IV after waiting for a chair for over and hour. Now they are mixing my meds but I think they’re close to being done. I thought we would almost be out of here by now but this is a much longer process than I thought.

My husband was at the local hardware store (which he often is 😊) and one of the employees there that sees him quite a bit just gave him for rodeo tickets so all 4 of my daughters are going to go! What an awesome surprise! Thank you, God! 🙌✝️

Update:
Have an appointment with my new oncologist next Thursday at 8am in Corvallis and that’s where my son Wesley lives so I’ll get to spend time with him and his girlfriend and I’m super excited about that! Hopefully I’ll get to see his dog Luna too who is a beautiful husky

I’ve got an incision that the top layer won’t close. Nurse just told me to keep it clean and use antibiotic ointment but it’s been a couple of weeks now. It’s right under my bra line and it’s painful and now all the skin around it is raw from using medical tape and large bandaids

Rash got worse. It’s on my arms, legs and face now. My oncologist said that this is common and to take Benadryl and use Benadryl cream and if it doesn’t get better or gets worse he can prescribe something stronger. I don’t feel horrible, just a bit itchy and very tired. Im going

Saw my naturopathic doc this morning and he prescribed me hydroxychloroquine for my rash so I won’t have to take steroid medication. He is getting some hormones ready for me to take too praise God 😄. I got some zenpep to see if it improves my digestion and some azithromycin

MRI wasn’t that bad. Now I’m waiting to have radioactive glucose injected into my iv for my PET scan. I have to sit here for 45 boring minutes afterwards and then they do the scan. I’m so impatient so this is not going to be fun 😩

45 girly pushups, 90 crunches, 3 sets of 15 calf lifts, dumbbells and 1 mile on the treadmill done. 200 elliptical rotations, 1 more mile on the treadmill and a 2 mile neighborhood walk to go. Found a HIT routine on YouTube that I’ll be trying out in a couple of weeks 😳 Scary!
