🟠 Dear Pallet Community: What a year it’s been! From going live before mainnet, to hour-long queues, to our Lotto days, we can’t believe what we’ve achieved as a team and as a community. With that being said, we’d like to share two very important announcements with you. Please be sure to read the whole post. Announcement 1: The Pallet Airdrop As a big thank you to our loyal supporters, we only think it’s fair to give back to our most avid users, which is why we’re announcing the Pallet Airdrop! The total amount to be airdropped is ~450K $SEI (the entire Pallet fee treasury). A few additional notes: - This is not a separate token. The airdrop will be in $SEI. - Eligible users are those who were in the Top 500 of the Pallet Points (PP) Leaderboard as of January 15th, 2025 at 00:00 UTC. - You can check your eligibility by visiting the Pallet Leaderboard This is the only way to check your eligibility. ⏰ Wen? The airdrop will be completed by 00:00 Monday January 20th. Announcement 2: We Are Sunsetting Pallet This was a challenging decision for us, but we are shutting down Pallet on Monday January 20th at 00:00 UTC. We’ve achieved our goals with $Sei in becoming the leading dapp in the ecosystem, and you guys will always hold a special place in our hearts. All user assets on the Pallet contract will be returned to users automatically (listed NFTs, bids). You do not need to do anything. - The contract will be frozen at 00:00 UTC on January 19th. Trading will be disabled at this time. - Throughout the 19th, after the contract is frozen, user assets will be returned. - You can still use Pallet to view your NFTs up until January 20th. More details on this below. --- 🪂 The Pallet Airdrop This airdrop is our way of giving back to our community who have supported us since the very beginning days of Sei! Thank you very much to everyone who supported (and fudded!) us. We loved every bit of it, and we’re really proud of everything we’ve achieved thanks to you all. We set out to become the premier Sei-native marketplace, and we proudly maintained that status. Along the way, we built the most widely used dApp in the ecosystem and forged strong relationships with founders, builders, collectors, and degen tradooors on Sei. We also managed to build out some non-directly NFT related experiences that we hope you all enjoyed, like DegeNS and Lotto. Whether you’ve been around since Sei testnet or joined Sei recently, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you. None of what we did would have ever been possible without you. We’re always been focused on making sure everyone had a great experience on Pallet from the start, and we loved every bit of feedback we got — it’s how we were able to constantly improve on Pallet. Let’s go through some quick figs about what we’ve done on the NFT side of things: - 512 collections live - 41,211,611 $Sei total volume - 81,996 unique wallets that bought or sold NFTs Not only that, but we’ve also had some pretty fun and engaging community initiatives: - Ramen Challenge - Lotto (186,692 tickets) - DegeNS (25,102 total domains) From setting out as the very first most widely used native marketplace on Sei…to, well, being the last 😆 it’s been a really great ride.
