Yes, Xbox has free cloud saves. While you’re connected to the Xbox network, saved games are automatically stored in the cloud, and you don't need an Xbox subscription to use cloud storage. Microsoft has confirmed that cloud saves will be free to use on Xbox consoles, removing the need for an active Xbox Live Gold membership
