I don't understand people who think that being (passive) aggressive, mean or antagonistic towards devs will get them what they want faster.
We're human, if you make us feel awful, we end up working slower, not faster.
I wish more people would work with us, rather than against.
This was insane! The .NET 8.0 upgrade for headless was really worth it. The codegen quality (and overall runtime performance) between Mono and .NET 8.0 is insane.
Now to get the graphical client on .NET 8.0 too! That's a bit bigger task, but it'll be so worth it.

Here's a first person view of being and flying in the Wyvern! I don't get to see a lot of my own body while I'm flying, but the sensation of being held up by my wings is really awesome.
That bit of snout that the camera picks up is a full snout view in-headset.
I just spent a whole day diagnosing an issue that could've been solved in 5 minutes if the person reporting it provided relevant information and context.
I caught COVID and I since got my Quest Pro with me, I'm getting the native Steam Link face tracking support finally sorted out for
@ResoniteApp
(which I wanted to do for a while).
I think I cranked the hard-coded pupil dilation value a bit too high for this test...

I've fixed it yay! :D Now the mesh particles perfectly follow either the mesh tangents, bitangents or normals! Turns out, the float3x3 matrix constructor from rows was wrong and interpreting them as columns instead.

There's another aspect to this too. It'd be nice to feel that people "want" me to be around and join things.
Most of the time I feel like I just sort of... exist. Everybody has their groups and circles and I'm just an outsider that floats around sometimes.
I get this too. I'm usually worried about assuming too much and that I'll annoy people or bother them at the wrong time.
Plus I'm a bit scatterbrain with these things. If someone wants me to come I'm much more likely to think about it and show up, vs if I just "can".

I feel like my life has been about choosing what is right and I feel needs to be done and what would make me happy, and I hate it.
I wish that for once, they could align and stop tearing me apart.
I'm still really proud of implementing multi-instancing in the core engine. Switching between multiple open worlds instantly is important for a VR metaverse, the same way tab support with ability to switch between open websites became really important for web-browsers.

This is a good message. Technology will always have its limitations. When you're making something, if you work with how the tech works, instead of against it, you can make amazing things, despite those limitations.

The Taidum now as a Resonite package you can download. Simply drag and drop the file into the Resonite window and a prefab should be ready to go! I'll be making a better version in the future soon.
I feel like I've been on a downward spiral. Even simple things are difficult. Everything feels more disconnected and distant. I'm stuck in a place with no future in sight. It's hard to breathe. I've had more panic attacks in last month than last year. I don't know what to do.
