@ProperPrompter This tweet is underrated hahaha. Anti-AI folks will say this is taken from a movie.

It is still 1 hour to go for @sama‘s birthday, and I’m really hoping he can prove my meme wrong. Let’s see what happens!

@sdw It is disturbing. There are emotions and memories attached to those things that were crushed. I hated that ad.

I can see clearly now why @elonmusk is concerned about the global fertility rate. If you think this problem is far from home, think again. Fewer working-age people to support the economy and an aging population will affect everything and everyone sooner than later. Now,

@thatroblennon Great thread! . My favorite AI is the one that complements humans, not replaces them. I don't mind the loss of economic opportunities, but the loss of diversity of thought. That's where the tragedy lies.

@KevinNaughtonJr On one side, tweets like these motivate people to code who were too intimidated by our field. But on the other, everyone acts surprised when after going through tutorials and courses, they can’t crack the interviews. Coding doesn’t equal Software Engineering.

@heyeaslo The most underrated one: selflessness. Usually, the motivation to create something comes from:. - Enjoying the building process.- Solving a problem of my own.- Potential prestige. Wild success comes to those that built with their customers in mind, not themselves.

The voice, personality and interactions with ChatGPTo is giving me big HER vibes. @OpenAI didn’t disappoint.

Information overload is making you dumber, specially in the AI field. Don’t fall for the funnel traps in the shape of lists of tens or hundreds of prompts. Information is not education, that’s why I support @thatroblennon @ProperPrompter and @cj_zZZz

@DeeperThrill I’ve been using it to help me create an iOS app since march and I’ve gone through 3 iterations of it since. No doubt this last version of my app has taken me way more prompts to get the results I got months ago.
In ChatGPT 4, something I could do with 1 prompt now takes me 2-3 instead. So I learned how to get more accurate answers again. This is the prompt I run after going back and forth with ChatGPT and getting the right answer. [Short thread]🧵.

@OneJKMolina One of the books I read describes this phenomena as “knowledge obesity”. Each book and course contains “calories” that, until assimilated, their un-applied knowledge is actually detrimental to the owner. I can’t remember the exact source of this analogy but is a great one.

I’ve definitely noticed the quality of GPT-4’s code go down the last few weeks. Anyone else? I hope they fix it!

@thejustinwelsh Easy!.
On sales: “The Little Red Book of Sales” helped me when running my tech startup for 4 years. Now, it’s thanks to this book that I was able to transform from just another software dev contractor to a Software Engineer at LinkedIn,. Because I see my colleagues as my customers.

@AlexHormozi There is wisdom to be found in many places if we approach others with compassion. Perhaps the single person offers thoughts on self-love, the poor person on gratitude, the unfit on self-acceptance. We must quiet our urge to criticize, and listen. Wisdom takes many forms.

@daboigbae I think future apps won’t be coded with human-legible instructions. I bet machines can tackle software engineering challenges better by them creating their own scripting language. Ai-generated code will be good when we stop expecting it to be human readable.

Many people trying to break into tech don’t have a resume that gets them calls from recruiters. The main reasons:. - They overshare about their inexperience.- They don’t highlight their experience. Grab my template for FREE here 👇

@InFlooent @TomFrankly @NotionHQ For this statement to be true, customers would need to:. - Know what they want from the beginning.- Dont ask for changes/tweaks/upgrades.- Learn how to maintain and optimize their data, security and infrastructure. Humans gonna human, our job security is safe.

@daboigbae Pretty much!.
Frontend Engineering is quicksand. It is the most at-risk job position in tech today, yet it is the comfort zone of many Jr. devs. If you know a Frontend developer, be a hero and convince them to try Backend or Infra before is too late.

@thedankoe Money is fuel for purposeful independence and generosity. Wise perspective - financial freedom allows us to serve others with greater authenticity, unburdened by reliance or obligation. Wealth building empowers authentic giving, is not an end itself.

@Thefrugalgay11 Call or visit friends? Spend time with family? (If you have no kids, what about parents? grand-parents? Cousins?). I’m all up for success, but these kind of tweets always leave out connecting with others while promoting an unhealthy lifestyle: loneliness.
