Getting this big man some feels of moving the middle with the CVB today while he was on a recovery throwing day. This setup really attacks the idea of funneling that frontside. Athletes are loving all the sensory information they receive from this tool

Med balls can be a serious unlock for many athletes in feeling the lower/upper body separate. This one in particular creates a little more challenge for the athlete to accept the force on his back leg and transfer it down the mound into a firm front side

While I do agree with this, athletes lacking sufficient IR in the front hip will have a really tough time accomplishing this and may even feel a pinch. Those athletes may need to clear the lead leg and create an impulse from it instead (easy ex: Verlander)
