@UtterSanity @Tshepiso_Brad @SecretFire79 No they are not alive in Heaven. Their souls reside in Heaven and will be reunited with their bodies at the End of the World.

@Tshepiso_Brad @SecretFire79 Why did the Apostles perform miracles like curing the sick? Why didn’t the people the Apostles cured refuse their cure and simply “choose Christ?” We have love for the souls of the dead.

No Catholic that seriously practices their Faith asks Mary for their salvation. We ask Mary to pray for us sinners as she is our spiritual Mother. Dictionary term for HYPERDULIA: The special veneration due to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is substantially less than the cultus latria (adoration), which is due to God alone. But it is higher than the cultus dulia (veneration), due to angels and other saints. As the Church understands the veneration of Mary, it is to be closely associated but subordinated to that of her Son. "The various forms of piety towards the Mother of God, which the Church has approved within the limits of sound and orthodox doctrine according to the dispositions and understanding of the faithful, ensure that while the mother is honored, the Son through whom all things have their being and in whom it has pleased the Father that all fullness should dwell, is rightly loved and glorified and His commandments are observed" (Second Vatican Council, Lumen Gentium, VII, 66). (Etym. Latin hyperdulia, virtue of deep submission.)

@OInclusives @fedcalderon7 @metathomist The rich man ASKED Abraham to send either Lazarus or another to warn the rich man's brothers ON EARTH. How would Lazarus NOT know what was going on?

The Rich Man and Lazarus 19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Sigh… Fed Calderon tweeted: “In the Bible, Satan does hear people who are alive in earth. But dead people who have gone to heaven, per the Bible, know nothing about what's going on earth, nor can they communicate with the living on earth.” I was responding to Fed Calderon’s tweet and then you decided to comment Orthodox Inclusives. It’s pretty apparent that Lazarus in Heaven knows what’s going on as he is standing by Abraham’s side while Abraham is talking to the rich man suffering in Hell. Abraham could have sent Lazarus or some other to the rich man's brothers to warn them of the torment of Hell, but Abraham elected not to. I could also use the example of Christ's Transfiguration to refute Fed Calderon's argument that dead people [souls actually] in Heaven (per Fed's Bible) know nothing about what's going on earth, nor can they communicate with the living on earth. Please have a blessed remainder of your day Orthodox Inclusives.

@OInclusives @fedcalderon7 @metathomist Wrong Lazarus Orthodox Inclusives. I'm referring to the beggar who died and went to Heaven. Enjoy the rest of the story.

@ECW058B @FenixAmmunition Cause when you’re driving an up-armored SUV, there’s no way you can reach your thigh holster. The vehicle is very cramped.

@Tribble_Bait @Culture_Crit If I were going to be an “all I need” Christian, it would be the Eucharist. Thankfully Christ’s Church has a very rich history, with the Trinity, a litany of Saints, Church Fathers, Apparitions and miracles to inspire its faithful.
