@never0n_sunday depends on a few things, though administrator gives him the ability to administrate without the permanent spiritual care of a place (often used to “trial run” guys or do temp replacement until a more permanent solution is found)

@never0n_sunday pastor has governential and spiritual responsibility for the parish, the parochial vicar is there to assist the pastor in these tasks

Something ive had to keep inside for 2 months but can now say. I AM GETTING A PAROCHIAL VICAR! Unfortunately his arrival is slightly delayed so is arriving while I am on holidays. Arrives on Feb 20th But soon I will have time to, like, take my day of rest, and get my PhD done.

@EmilyKath319 yeah im sure ill have someone force me down one day lol. but it also requires TIME to watch a movie, something sadly I dont have much of these days

More people need to read Augustine’s City of God because Augustine essentially says: it is ok to work with the institutions of the world. there are criteria for this, but his point is worthy of consideration
I'm still not clear why it is a bad thing for organs of the church to accept grants from the government to do charitable work. No one can say why it corrupts the Church's mission or why privately funded charities would be better. Conservatives held the opposite view 20 years ago.
