May 26 holds a special place in my heart. I was baptized on this day in 1985 and in 1990 hit this grand slam.
On this day in 1990- Burke Masters went 6-6 and hit a go-ahead grand slam in the top of the ninth in MSU’s 11-8 win over Florida State in the Starkville Regional.

I love sharing the story that the first time I faced Ben at MSU, it was the first time in my life I never saw the ball. He released the pitch and the next thing I heard was the ball hitting the catcher’s mitt. The umpire called it a strike.
