As I slowly creep my way up, I'm considering adding one or two cobwebs for a change of texture. Also looking forward to working on the ivory keyboard. For all the pain this model brought me, I'm in my happy place when texturing this thing.

Finally it arrived! This cathedral inspired by Reims' was fully built in Minecraft and then 3D printed thanks to @imaterialise . From normal blocks all the way to iron bars, all the details made it through!

Woke up to a certain ArtStation Post today. As much as I hate to say it, there are striking similarities between it and my project, down to the obscure handle I went with, specific wear/stains/scratches, and the background.

I am not as satisfied as I could have been regarding the entrance but it seems to fit well with the rest. Now I have yet to decide wether it would be worth finishing the whole structure considering how highly symmetrical it all is.

Here is how far I've gone with the cathedral so far. I'm not that pleased with the overall color of it and I have to work on the shape some more. But yeah, it should end up looking like the cathedral of Reims at the end if everything goes well.

Tried scanning a boot this time. I wanted to highlight the limits of that thing. It struggles a fair bit with thin geometry and would definitely require cleanup. It's better suited for continuous surfaces like sculptures or rocks.
