@polish_geoff @dbeitler51 @ADiMarco25 I don’t believe a rebuild means you have to get rid of all veterans. I actually really like the way they are making room for the young guys while simultaneously making them earn their spots. It’s a fantastic way to build a winning culture while creating a standard of excellence.

@NHL @NHLFlyers Great debut. Hope he can keep it up. 2 things I didn’t expect: 1) his checking was better then I expected. 2) his skating was better then I remembered.

@charlieo_conn My only question is that from the overhead angle the puck is under his leg pad. If the ref decides to blow it because of that then it should be no goal.

@beaudreau_cody @MikeBartner Kucherov was never on these lists. Guys like this probably gave up on talents like Jack Hughes after his rookie and sophomore NHL seasons as well.

@Diesel4870 @Raiderfrank65 Yep. People are very creative. When Mish plays well he gets more ice time, just like every other player. It’s not a mystery. Love or hate torts, that way of coaching is extremely logical.

@Raiderfrank65 I probably gave this a watch because of your comment and I’m glad I did. Maybe because you set the table of expectations but I didn’t find their questions too bad. It’s just the typical stuff all media guys repeat. Impressed that the frostbees kept it classy.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 1) not turtles. Those are tortoises. 2) that’s not a pond, it’s for drinking water. 3) it’s portable. He could pick it up and clean it somewhere less annoying.

@Anth_Chatburn @charlieo_conn Yea, that’s the weakest aspect of this. Without teams like Czech, Slovakia, Germany and Russia it feels half assed.

@JameyBaskow Even bottom 6 NHL guys crushed it in juniors. I’ll start getting excited when his game proves to translate to the NHL level.

@Anth_Chatburn @charlieo_conn Yea it’s definitely a little strange. I guess we’ll see if it’s truly competitive or if guys see it as a mandatory all star sort of thing. I miss seeing teams full of the best players competing. I grew up enjoying them.
