@SarahFPoetry I don’t know, considering many top people in the Trump orbit talk around rounding up and jailing / killing those that disagree with them, I think “Lana, how do your values square with that?” is a reasonable question. Many of us grapple w this in our own social circles

@mdonnino @CollinRugg @greygnome That’s the elephant in the room on this issue. Don’t know Mangione’s med history but the overall success rate of “surgery to fix back pain” is grim. Interoceptive inference potentially relevant too - anxiety not always required for CNS to perpetuate pain after injury.
