At approximately 4:44pm we were advised that a Mooney propeller aircraft with one person on board landed without landing gear beside Runway 35L. The one occupant has exited the aircraft uninjured and the aircraft sustained minor damage. @SouthMetroPIO and @ArapahoeSO are on scene.

Meet the Centennial Airport Snow Team! ✨❄️ Our Maintenance Department and Operations Department are geared up and ready for the snow season with their new official “Centennial Airport Snow Team” jackets! While Maintenance works around the clock to clear snow from our runways, taxiways, and ramps, Operations steps into the role of “Snowboss”, coordinating snow removal efforts across the airport. Together, these incredible teams aim to ensure Centennial Airport stays open and safe - no matter the weather conditions. Let’s give them a big thank you for keeping us moving through the winter storms! 👏👏

It is such an honor to be awarded the Innovation Spotlight Award by the Colorado Green Business Network for our Unleaded Aviation Fuel Program – where we are the first, and only, airport in the state of Colorado to offer unleaded Avgas. Additionally Centennial Airport was again recognized as a Silver Business for our operational sustainability. As part of our Unleaded Aviation Fuel Program, we not only reimburse flight schools and airport-based aircraft owners for the cost for obtaining their STC (certificate of FAA approval to use unleaded fuel) – but the airport also works with fuel suppliers to subsidize the final cost difference between UL94 (unleaded fuel) and 100LL (low-lead fuel) to encourage use. This program is a result of listening to our communities’ concerns, having a responsive airport board and elected leaders, and leveraging our strong partnerships with jetCenters of Colorado and based flight schools. With the support of the Colorado Aeronautical Board, who in June unanimously approved a $300,000 discretionary aviation grant to support our program, we can continue to facilitate the transition to unleaded aviation fuel. @CDPHE #CGBN2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Olislagers, former Director of Centennial Airport, after his battle with pancreatic cancer. Robert led the airport for over 20 years, transforming it into one of the nation's top general aviation airports. His legacy includes numerous accolades, serving as Chair of the Colorado Aeronautics Board and his induction into the Colorado Aviation Hall of Fame. Our thoughts are with his wife, Marilyn, as we remember Robert's kindness, leadership, and unwavering passion for aviation. More at
