This is a dude I went to school with growing up. Grew up in the same middle class circumstances. Same area. Same opportunities. He had to drop this little nugget on some vacation photos I posted. Every year I work hard to take my girls on one big trip to do or see something they won’t forget. It’s important to me. This is just a reminder that if you’re working to earn the respect of anyone other than the people that matter to you, you’re working for the wrong thing. Seldom will anyone really understand your motivations or what you’ve had to do in order to build the life you work hard for. That’s just the way it is.
