This is a very good point if hadn't thought of. Full disclosure i own $hbar and not $xrp but do believe it's a great crypto and feel like the US government is leaning that way. However, with hedera being public and #ElonMusk talking about having the government audited for PUBLIC knowledge, this makes sense on several levels
