Such an honor and pleasure reuniting with my mentor Dr. Pascal Jabbour. I emailed him as a medical student in Lebanon to come shadow him, and it did not take even a minute for him to respond. The rest is history!

That’s a great point about another disadvantage for IMGs, in addition to the conversion of step 1 to P/F. Things could be more equitable.
In the meantime, I have no doubt IMGs will continue to match…in ever-increasing numbers, because of great mentorship. The number 1 factor.
Offering Interviews only to candidates who had signaled the program would reduce the chances for IMGs because it’s limiting them to 25 programs only, while IMGs would apply to all the programs 115 to try to maximize their chances! There must be a better way!

Insights from a large AVM registry: As many as 2.4% of patients treated with complete microsurgical resection experienced a lesion-negative hemorrhage, a bleed in the same location as the previously resected AVM with no documented recurrence!

This is an Epiphone guitar (Les Paul GT series). As Sam said, if is modeled after the original Gibson Les Paul, but it’s priced for a neurosurgery resident lol. Just a cheaper knockoff, not comparable in quality to the Gibson but gets the job done!
