The point is AEW is overpaying by THEIR means. They have yet to turn a profit in the 5 years they have existed. How could paying someone 4.5 million a year be helpful to their current situation?

Sure Will has had some great matches (personally not my favorite style to watch), but Cody has made the vast majority of fans FEEL something.
Not sure that Ospreay holds a candle to what Cody Rhodes has been able to do in terms of inspiring
