Week 148 of FCC and we have new tracks from Confidence Man, Public Service Broadcasting, The Streets and Mavis Staples. We throwback at the end to a classic 90’s 12” version.
Enjoy ✌🏻
Well this post went a bit mad. For the record I was showing off I’m having a shite drink at 8am and also have to take a Hayfever, Blood thinner, vitamin and 2x paracetamol because I am well past it.

Shame about all The Desperados and Cider !!
Have to be honest when my freelance contract ended before chrimbo I didn’t think I’d be on a second job in 2024 and working here.
Nice when the cards fall for you. I’m a massive believer of karma.
Hmmm interesting. Has Berger not just signed her P45 as would she not get voted in again?? Oh and if you jib your party I think there should be a by-election straight away as you have moved away from what you were voted in on.
Big thank you to the person on here who sorted our five Glastonbury tickets out. He/she declined a gift from us saying “It's very kind to offer. All I ask is you pay it forward to a glasto goer in the resale!”
We will do and hopefully we can meet them for a pint down there. 😍
Another Wednesday evening at Glastonbury and just the one “crunch crunch” last year was one. Going to see Steve Davis when he DJ’s

Me Ma would have been 75 today. It’s also world cancer day which is fucking ironic. 17 years this April. Always gets me she only seen one of our three daughters and that was not for long.
Should really have a large vodka Diet Coke tonight in her memory and watch Dynasty 🤣
For the first time since December 21st I can say I have work in the morning.
Trying not to let it worry/stress me too much. I’ve had a lot worse things to worry about in the last 25 years !!
Don’t do clapping. Happy to March on the streets of London once the shit dies down though. Happy to campaign for a better society built from the embers of this. Many people clapping voted to help this situation. Many once we return to normal will never be heard clapping again.
4 years ago tonight I was carried out a boozer in a bad way.
Thought I was on my way out and even said to the father in law “tell everyone I love them”
It was a TIA (Mini stroke)
Touch wood all ok since but the psychological aspect of it never goes.
Happy 4th birthday
Just cut through Concert Square on my way back from Jacaranda Records. Never felt everyone of my 50 years of age before.
Town was also booming the bottom end of Slater Street.
Back on the train now and slippers and pipe await.
This Liverpool shit would have wound me up 18 months ago. Now I just smirk and think bastards. I’ve stopped caring. Most probably where they want me but my time is running out on this planet and I’m gonna enjoy it.
Time to spin some Nightmares On Wax ✌🏻
And so the youngest heads off to her last day at Sudley Juniors. The end of an era and around 15 years going to Sudley for our three daughters. A day tinged with a bit of sadness but the march of time stops for nobody.
My personal tribute for this evening. Dedicated to my lovely ma in law Joanie who left us six days ago. She will be looking down and tapping her feet. Rest in peace Queen. X
So my daughter Holly won best improved player this season for

Must have been my sessions up Sudley Field 😉
Nah not really. It’s thanks to all involved running the team who put so much effort in. So a big thanks from me.
A great presentation evening tonight
Two years ago after the match I was carried out of the boozer. Thought I was toast. Never did find out what it was. Possible mini stroke. Anyway I wanted to mark it last year but couldn’t so tonight me and Mrs Fay have come out for a few and I will mark it every year.
In memory of my mum who died 17 years ago next month it’s a vodka in her memory. Just a double and not one of her home measures 🤪
Here she is at our engagement party with my dad looking rather scouse. Already sporting a wig due to her treatment.
Not sure if this will make it to 2030 ? The Old Otterspool Cafe.
Here is a blog of when I sneaked inside it a few years back.
“Exclusive inside the old Otterspool cafe”
Not much more I could do. I verified the payment on my bank app. All ok on the site. Final button and 🤯
It’s a shambles it will always be a shambles and I wasn’t lucky in the shambles.
If you got a

ticket enjoy ✌🏻
It’s my 3rd birthday today. 3 years since I got carried out a boozer having a possible mini stroke. Apart from that mad 20 mins physically I am fine. Never the same mentally as I thought I was dying. So I always celebrate it with a bevvy now 😄
Remember the old days when charity chrimbo singles were for starving people in Africa.
Now it’s a charity chrimbo number one to raise money for people starving in our country.
That right there should tell you how fucked things are.
Day 55/55 run every day until chrimbo
Up out and early for a half marathon. The sausage roll log inspired me to finish.
300 miles (and a bit) in total
