If you justify this decision you are an enemy of football.
VAR has to go, the laws have to become more lenient on offside. The game is finished as we knew it.
People who think this is "clearly offside" know nothing about the sport, you are talking a 50th of a second movement.
Where the hell is the strikers unfair advantage coming from?
The offside law was never, ever supposed to disallow goals for this. It's utterly pathetic.
Hi
@EFL
please can you explain why 1,108 League One games were played without VAR, but the play off final is with VAR?
Who decided this, were fans consulted?
How does it make sense that one game is played with a technology none of the 1,108 others in the same competition are?
VAR kills the passion. I don't give a flying fuck about goals which are millimetres offside. We used to give the benefit of the doubt to the striker

🚨🚨| JUST IN: Howard Webb says Premier League referees will announce to stadium crowds why they changed their decisions after a VAR review starting next season. 👀📢

It's been five years and boring nerds still think either VAR can work or revel in its technocracy.
We have to reclaim the game from the robots and nerds and bring it back to being about passion and the football itself.
The entire Championship, League One and League Two play offs are played with no VAR.
But the play off finals are played with VAR, effectively meaning laws can be enforced which are near impossible to enforce without VAR.
Absolutely, f-cking, ridiculous
#EFL
It's as simple as this
Some decisions were wrong before VAR
Some decisions are wrong after VAR
But before VAR the game was more fun, fans could celebrate goals and it was pure in-the-moment excitement.
Scrap VAR. Scrap
@FA_PGMOL
and give the game back to the fans!

No to VAR
No to playing games in America
No to rip-off ticket prices
No to state ownership
No to multi-club ownership
No to soul-less all seater stadiums
No to fan repression

🚨 FIFA are set to accept a new law that will allow leagues to play at least one match in their League campaign ABROAD! 🌎
A Premier League, La Liga, Serie A or Ligue 1 match could be played in the United States soon. 🤯🇺🇸

Big news on VAR in Sweden.
Head of the Swedish FA announces that VAR system will not be used there.
Been rejected by fans groups + clubs says
@sportbladet
Could the same happen in England

Rosenborg vs. Lillestrøm in Norway's Eliteserien, play has now been stopped a total of four times inside the first 30 minutes due to protests from both sets of fans because they don't like VAR 😂
Items thrown onto the pitch include tennis balls, smoke bombs and... fishcakes.
One of the many problems with VAR is refs wait for VAR to check rather than making bold decisions.
Chelsea score, fans and players go mental, special moment is robbed after 3 minutes of checks.
That's not football. Not what made any of us fall in love with the game.
People tweet me saying "offside is offside" acting like the law has been the same for 130 years. Laws can change and must change for the good of the game.
Can't believe there are people who justify this shit. Weirdos the lot of them.
Let the big six join a super league with VAR and rolling subs.
Then have the football league back as divisions 1-4. No VAR. Tickets capped at £25. 3 subs. Saturday 3pm kick offs.
Some "fans" would rather see the heart and soul of football ripped out than admit they were wrong about VAR being needed.
"Its the officials not VAR" blah blah. VAR IS officials.
Give the game back to the referee on the sodding pitch.
Trying to create an atmosphere in the
@premierleague
and this is what happens.
The police and clubs want obedient tourists. Soon our crowds will be indistinguishable from NBA or NFL stadiums at the top level.
They couldn't possibly be given without VAR.
Which, Gary, you are in favour of.
You are part of the problem. You demanded "accuracy" and this is where it leads.
I hope you're happy.
You calling it out is gross hypocrisy.
Incredible how VAR sucks the life out of even last minute winners.
Totally fucked the game. Hope the tourists and armchair fans still enjoy it.

VAR will eventually kill-off fans properly celebrating. Supporters will get burnt time after time, and eventually after a goal will learn to give a cheer before turning to a screen.
#VAR
is killing the game as we know it
34,300 fans signed a petition to scrap VAR, not one peep about it in the mainstream football media.
Why aren't they interested in representing the views of the majority of matchgoing fans?

I've had this account since 2019, calling out hundreds, if not thousand of bullshit VAR decisions and why I think VAR is terrible for the sport.
But now I'm being accused by Manchester United fans of having an agenda against them? What a joke.
Football was so much more FUN before VAR.
Some people are happy to see the heart and soul ripped out because they can't cope with a goal being scored which is 0.01 millimetres offside.
People who think "VAR's not the problem, officials are" two things.
1) It's been five years
2) VAR will always be run by officials subject to human error
3) Even if VAR worked perfectly (impossible) you still couldn't celebrate goals
4) The laws of football are subjective
On May 22 at 2pm fans will peacefully gather outside the Premier League headquarters in Paddington, London, to protest against the use of VAR in English football.
Please RT to raise awareness.

Don't try and make an atmosphere in the
@premierleague
, brought to you by state sportswashing.
Pay £70. Sit down. Don't celebrate goals because of VAR. Eat popcorn. Buy a scarf. Behave yourself. Fuck off home.
Every single change that happens in football is in favour of the elite clubs.
And moronic fans of those clubs still somehow think there is an "agenda" against their club.
The
@premierleague
want grounds filled with tourists, who will sit quietly and not kick up a fuss when they have to wait for a VAR decision.
They have gradually eroded fan culture since 1992.
This is the worst day in
#VAR
history. Does anyone support this utter nonsense anymore?
Who remembers when it was going to be for "Clear and obvious errors" 😂
Stop this shambles. Give the game back to the supporters.
Faceless people at Premier League clubs will decide to keep VAR whilst the matchgoing fans have no say at all.
Every season there will be more tourists in stadiums and fewer traditional fans. All part of the plan.
Blue cards, VAR, blood money, outrageous ticket prices, anti fan laws and kick off times. I have no power to stop the game being destroyed in front of my eyes.
How many times.
If you need to draw lines, it's not offside.
The lineman's call should be god.
If any part of your body that can score is onside give the goal.
Anti-human anti-football shite ruining the sport season after season.
VAR has fucked the sport for legacy fans.
The petition to remove VAR from the
@premierleague
has over 31,000 signatures.
A story totally ignored by any form of media. The media very rarely represent fan issues, and I don't understand why.
Hahaha VAR sent him off for that. Shameful.
Pathetic people still think VAR can make perfect decisions. It's ran bu humans. It's human error. It's shit.
Slow motion replays are shit.
It's all shit. Scrap it.
Nottingham Forest the latest team to fall foul to a ludicrous VAR decision today.
@FA
you do know you're not allowed to score with your arm right?

Imagine my shock.
It was a farce. No club bothered asking it's fans what they thought.
Anti VAR fans are going nowhere and we are only going to get louder and more problematic for you,
@premierleague
#AMF
Clubs today voted in favour of continuing to operate VAR in the Premier League. While VAR produces more accurate decision making, it was agreed that improvements should be made for the benefit of the game and supporters.
There are six areas of focus:
Presumably the Premier League clubs voting on VAR will ask their season ticket holders what they think about it?
Or will they just ignore fans and do what they want as usual.
If you think a goal should be disallowed over a fraction of a millimetre and 100th of a second movements, you are anti football and should find a new sport.
