Wonderful to see a new memorial stone laid at Barnsley Town Hall in memory of Sergeant Ian McKay VC.
Sgt McKay was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for his extraordinary bravery during the Battle of Mount Longdon - an excellent tribute to Sgt McKay’s enduring legacy.
