After four innings, Omar Melendez relieves Joey McMannis. McMannis put in a solid outing for the Terps, allowing two earned runs on six hits. McMannis did a good job limiting the damage to just three runs and keeping Maryland within striking distance.
Maryland baseball adds Jack Wren from the transfer portal. Wren is a graduate student from Marist College, where he finished with a 3.60 ERA and 48 strikeouts over 50 innings last season.
It was back-and-forth action all game long as both teams featured their offenses throughout the game. Maryland ultimately secured the victory and their first series sweep under Matt Swope. Here's my recap of today's action!
