Maryland first baseman Eddie Hacopian has received buzz from multiple teams ahead of the MLB Draft. I spoke with Hacopian about his optimism for the upcoming draft. He led the Terps with a .377 batting average in 2024 and started in all 119 games in two years at Maryland.

Maryland defeats James Madison for the second time this season, 6-4, earning their third Quad 1 win this season. Michael Iannazzo’s three-run homer pushed the Terps ahead while Kenny Lippman earned the win with 3.2 innings of relief, striking out four.

Maryland earns a crucial victory and defeats James Madison, 9-5. The Dukes entered the game ranked No. 9 in the country in RPI, with three top-25 wins. Chris Hacopian put a stamp on the victory with a grand slam in the eighth inning.

Williams is the third four-star recruit to sign for Brenda Frese and the Terps today. The six-foot-two forward was Montana’s Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 22.4 points and 11.2 rebounds per game in 2022-23. Frese is building another strong class for 2024-25.
